1500cc Powered 1966 VW Beetle

The car is finished in light aqua green and features 15-inch steel wheels fitted with chrome Volkswagen-branded hubcaps and blackwall tires. Exterior equipment includes dual side mirrors with chrome housings, polished chrome bumpers with overriders, integrated running boards, front fender-mounted turn indicators, chrome headlight bezels, side quarter vent windows, and a rear engine cover with integrated cooling louvers. The taillights and turn signals utilize incandescent bulbs, and factory trim runs along the sides. A single driver-side fuel filler cap is visible, and all glass is clear with chrome window surrounds.

The H-series prefix is consistent with Volkswagen's 1500cc engine as used in 1967–1970 Beetles rather than the F-series 1300cc engine original to this chassis; a circle stamped before the prefix identifies the case as a Volkswagen factory remanufactured exchange unit. The factory 6-volt electrical system has been converted to 12-volt, a common and practical modernization rendering the original radio non-functional. An electric fuel pump was added by the current owner to improve cold-starting reliability. In addition, heat exchangers are fitted over the exhaust manifolds. The five-digit odometer shows 8,437 miles; total mileage is unknown.
