16K Mile 2004 Pontiac GTO

This GTO is finished in silver metallic paint with a body-color front bumper, integrated fog lights, dual hood scoops, and a GTO-specific grille with mesh inserts. The car is also fitted with a rear bumper from the 2006 model year. The car rides on 18-inch alloy wheels finished in matte black and fitted with low-profile Hankook tires. Exterior equipment includes body-color mirror caps and monochrome door handles. A dual-outlet exhaust tip is visible at the rear. The GTO coupe body features frameless windows and a rear deck lid spoiler. The passenger side headlight lens is starting to show some fog, and the driver's rear quarter window seal is showing some age.

The cabin is trimmed in black leather upholstery with "GTO" embroidery on the front seatbacks and leather-wrapped door inserts. Seating is configured for four occupants in a 2+2 layout, with power-adjustable front bucket seats and a split-folding rear bench. Many GTOs of this generation have wilting suede door inserts and a split in the rear seat. This example is free from these blemishes. Equipment includes automatic climate control, a center console-mounted shifter, a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, and a Blaupunkt 200-watt audio system with six speakers, all of which are functional. The dashboard includes analog gauges with red backlighting and satin metallic trim accents on the console and dash.

The 5.7-liter LS1 carries a BBK aluminum intake manifold, JBA headers with catless mid-pipes and full catback exhaust, and an AEM cold air intake; the computer was professionally tuned by John Hennessey to match the hardware. Custom GTO-engraved aluminum valve covers replace the factory units, and a 160-degree thermostat runs the cooling system. Power reaches the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic and fully independent rear suspension; four-wheel ventilated disc brakes are fitted with red calipers.
