SR20 Powered 1984 Renault 5 Turbo 2 - 6-Speed

The exterior is finished in red and distinguished by period-correct Turbo 2 widebody panels, aggressive front fascia, integrated fog lamps, and large rear fender vents, hood scoop, and "TURBO 2" side graphics are present and intact. The 15-inch custom minilite-style wheels in a dark finish sit at each corner: Yokohama S Drive 195/50 R15 tires up front and Nitto NT555R drag radials in 275/50 R15 at the rear; the staggered setup is consistent with the car's performance orientation. The car is missing the hatch's rear wiper. In addition, the gas cap and front Renault symbol have started to show their age.

The tan corduroy bucket seats appear in good condition; the black dashboard carries the original Jaeger instrument cluster with a 140-mph speedometer and tachometer. The Renault three-spoke steering wheel is fitted. An aftermarket Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite pyrometer is mounted to monitor exhaust gas temperatures in real time. The door panels carry the factory red accent trim strip; black carpet covers the floor. Power windows and a custom pedal cluster are also present. The vehicle's headliner is sagging, and the passenger-side door card shows some wear.

The original Renault engine has been replaced with a Nissan 2.0L SR20 DET inline-four built with forged internals, motivated by a Garrett T3 turbocharger; the previous owner reports 375 to 395 horsepower on 91 octane. The fuel system has been fully rebuilt with new pumps and 550cc injectors; a custom ignition system is fitted. Power routes to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual Getrag transaxle. Four-wheel disc brakes are fitted; front and rear sway bars are installed. Heat insulation is applied to the engine bay compartment lid. The five-digit odometer reads 7,605; total mileage is unknown.
