2000 Land Rover Defender TD5 5-Speed LHD

Camel Trophy yellow covers the upper body over black lower cladding and rock sliders, the correct two-tone treatment of the factory Camel Trophy vehicles. A heavy-duty black bull bar with integrated front winch is fitted; a right-side snorkel extends to roofline height. Four large round driving lights are mounted to a roof light bar integrated into the full-length expedition roof rack; red jerry can mounts are visible on the rear. Round LED headlights replace the original units. Yellow-painted color-matched steel wheels wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. Camel Trophy door decals, Union Jack badge on the front wing, and period Camel Trophy logo graphics are applied throughout; "DEFENDER" lettering is fitted across the grille surround. Communication antenna wires are routed along the windshield frame.

The cabin retains the factory grey cloth upholstery, consistent with the BMIHT certificate, covering the front seats in a geometric pattern. An auxiliary gauge pod is mounted atop the dashboard, carrying four instruments: oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltmeter, and a fourth gauge supplementing the factory cluster. A toggle switch panel is fitted below the auxiliary pod for the accessory circuits: driving lights, winch, and ancillary equipment. An aftermarket modern stereo is installed. The original stereo head unit does not come with the truck. Inward-facing rear bench seats are mounted longitudinally along each side wall of the cargo area, the standard Station Wagon configuration seating up to four additional passengers facing across the vehicle. The Land Rover steering wheel faces the standard TD5 instrument cluster; the five-speed shifter and transfer case lever rise from the center. A single DIN head unit is fitted in the center stack.

The 2.5-litre TD5 five-cylinder turbodiesel makes 122 horsepower and 221 lb-ft and drives the rear wheels or all four through an uprated five-speed manual gearbox (noted on the BMIHT factory certificate) and a permanent four-wheel-drive transfer case with high and low range. The right-side snorkel raises the air intake to roofline height. The odometer shows 190,207 km (approximately 118,200 miles).
