1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 5-Speed

The body carries a blue-gray repaint completed during refurbishment, per the seller; the original color was silver per the Carfax, and paint imperfections are noted in various spots. This SR5 is outfitted with custom 15" wheels and Goodyear Wrangler rubber. The factory lower-body graphics, OEM steel bumpers, and rear wiper housing and trim are original and intact; exterior trim is blacked out throughout. A lift and all-terrain tires on factory-style multi-spoke wheels give the truck a taller stance than stock. The driver's side rear window upper seal is not correctly fitted, and the trim on the same quarter shows age; door handles show fading on both sides, and door sills are not color-matched to the body. The Carfax reports a moderate-damage accident in September 1990; damage disclosures were recorded at two separate ownership changes in 2017.

Gray fabric covers the front buckets and rear bench; the seller reports the seats are original, and both rows show no visible wear in the photos. A roll cage is installed throughout the cabin. Full-length fabric door panels are present with no speaker holes cut; all original interior trim plastic is intact but starting to show its age, and the rear window operates via an interior switch and a key. The SR5 tach cluster presents a speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, and temperature gauges with no cracking or fading visible; an altimeter is fitted alongside the standard instrumentation. Surface oxidation is visible at the base of the driver's doorjamb, and the glove box door shows scratches; Toyota-branded 4Runner floor mats are fitted front and rear.

The 2.4-liter 22RE inline-four produces 116 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque with electronic fuel injection; the seller reports the engine was rebuilt by Sunwest Automotive with a new cylinder head installed. Part-time four-wheel drive is standard. Carfax documents a starter replacement at 232,244 miles in August 2025; crankshaft oil seals, valve cover gasket, and EGR system were serviced at 232,303 miles in September 2025. In addition, new brake calipers and rotors, as well as an alternator, have been fitted. Brake fluid was flushed in September 2025.
