Heritage Blue is exclusive to the Trail Teams and not offered on any standard FJ Cruiser covers; the body panels are straight with no visible damage in the photos. The 16-inch TRD beadlock-style wheels in gunmetal with red TRD center caps sit at each corner, with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires mounted, and a full-size spare on the reverse-opening rear door. Rock rails and a black roof rack complete the exterior package. Trail Teams Ultimate badging is affixed to the rear alongside the FJ Cruiser nameplate; a 4 Wheel Drive graphic runs across the tailgate. The Trail Teams dashboard pod sits above the center stack facing the driver, with an inclinometer and compass fitted as Trail Teams-specific instrumentation, the clearest visual dividing line between this and a standard FJ Cruiser cabin. Black and gray fabric upholstery covers the front buckets and rear seats; the leather-wrapped steering wheel carries audio and cruise controls. Dashboard and trim show no cracking or damage in the photos; carpet and floor mats show no visible wear. A rearview camera is fitted.

The 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 produces 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed automatic and part-time four-wheel drive. The Trail Teams Ultimate suspension runs TRD-tuned Bilstein shocks at all four corners, larger front units with TRD springs and remote-reservoir rears, leveling the stance and improving the approach angle over the standard FJ Cruiser. A locking rear differential, Crawl Control, A-TRAC, and Multi-Terrain Select are fitted; a 1/4-inch TRD aluminum front skid plate is installed. Carfax shows brakes checked and tires serviced at 29,703 miles in 2017; a maintenance inspection was completed at Eddy's Toyota of Wichita at 39,285 miles in 2021. No accidents or damage are reported.
