1969 International Harvester Scout 800A Aristocrat 4X4

Dark blue-green covers the Travel Top and upper body; silver covers the lower body panels and hood, separated by a bright trim strip at the beltline. The Travel Top is fitted with a chrome roof rack. A chrome front bumper is installed; amber auxiliary driving lights are mounted at the bumper ends. Chrome door mirrors are fitted at both doors. Slotted steel wheels sit at each corner with Futura Dakota H/T all-terrain tires; a rear swing-out carrier holds the spare tire on a matching slotted steel wheel alongside a mounted jerry can. Aristocrat badging appears on the body. Door fit shows alignment irregularities on both doors, and paint is aging from an older refurbishment. The front of the truck is equipped with a brush guard.

Blue vinyl upholstery covers the bucket seats; the dashboard and door panels carry matching blue. The IH three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and carries the IH emblem at the center hub. The gauge cluster mounts a temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge, and a 100-mph speedometer, with warning indicator lights across the dash face. A radio occupies the center of the dashboard. Blue carpet covers the floor over IH-logoed rubber floor mats. The floor-mounted T-45 four-speed lever and transfer case lever rise from the tunnel; a wooden storage box is fitted between the seats.

The 304ci V8 was rebuilt as part of the restoration, with the bulk of that work completed around 2013; receipts are on file. Power routes through a T-45 four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case to the rear wheels or all four. Four-wheel drum brakes are fitted. The RA28 rear axle carries a 3.31:1 ratio. Dual fuel tanks are installed, as well as a Super Winch ATV 1500.
