20K-Mile 1987 Buick Grand National

The Grand National's exterior specification was a deliberate departure from the chrome-heavy Regal it shared a body with: all-black paint, all-black trim, an integrated front air dam, body-color side skirts, and no chrome anywhere on the car. The factory 15-inch cast aluminum Turbo wheels are fitted in the correct charcoal finish. No modifications are reported beyond the factory specification. The gray cloth interior is consistent with the factory Grand National specification: ribbed cloth seats with lighter gray inserts front and rear, matching gray door panels, and black carpet throughout. The factory instrument cluster faces the driver with an 85-mph speedometer and the Turbo 3.8 Litre dash badge; the original radio and TH200-4R selector are in place. Buick-logo floor mats are installed.

The LC2 intercooled 3.8-liter turbo V6 makes 245 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels through a TH200-4R four-speed automatic; the seller reports the only modification is a Wilwood brake master cylinder, and the original brake master cylinder comes with the vehicle. Carfax records show New York title history from 1994, and safety and emissions inspections through 2015 with no accidents, damage, or title flags reported. The seller states 20,015 actual miles, corroborated by Carfax to 19,605 at the 2019 auction sale.
