Supercharged 509 V8-Powered 1953 Ford F-100

The body has undergone extensive fabrication: cab corners rounded, cowl vents filled, emblems and door handles shaved, and all seams welded and smoothed. The factory hood was pie-cut for a lower profile. A hand-fabricated floating grille and frenched headlight buckets are fitted up front, along with reworked C2 Corvette bumpers front and rear, the rears integrating LED taillights. The front fender openings were moved forward four inches to align with the custom chassis, the running boards raised and reshaped for continuous flow between the fenders, and the rear fenders widened by 1.5 inches. The bed features a custom-restyled tailgate, a hand-formed rollpan with integrated exhaust exits, and a bed floor with an aluminum frame inlay and carbon fiber inserts. The body is finished in two-tone black and blue metallic with silver leaf and gray gradient accents, bordered by yellow pinstriping by Rick's Pinstriping, a finish that extends into the engine bay. The truck rolls on Billet Specialties Rail wheels, 20-inch front and 22-inch rear, wrapped in BF Goodrich G-Force T/A tires.

The cabin is trimmed in charcoal leather by Paul Atkins, with satin gray finishes and yellow pinstriping tracing across the hand-fabricated dash and door panels. A center-mounted gauge cluster houses AutoMeter instruments with perforated metal accenting and push-button ignition. A custom waterfall center console carries the pinstriping theme and houses a carbon fiber shifter and radio controls. A tilting ididit steering column and a custom Billet Specialties steering wheel complete the driver's setup. Air conditioning is integrated, with controls hidden beneath the dash.

The Bill Mitchell 509 cubic-inch big-block is fitted with a polished Weiand 4-71 supercharger and an 870cfm Hardcore carburetor, rated at approximately 750 horsepower. Sanderson headers feed a custom 3-inch exhaust system built by the Roadster Shop, flowing through Flowmaster mufflers. The valve covers and air cleaner are custom-painted and pinstriped to match the bodywork. Power is routed through a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears and a limited-slip differential. The chassis is a Roadster Shop Stage III unit, stretched four inches with raised crossmembers and a C-notch. Heidt's Superide independent front suspension is paired with power rack-and-pinion steering, a triangulated 4-link rear, and QA1 coilovers at all four corners. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes.
